So …. QUANTUM OF MENACE, the first in my small town murder mystery series featuring Q from the James Bond franchise, is up for TWO major awards.
These awards are partly decided by public vote – this is where you come in!
Awards aren’t really about an author’s ego. (Well, maybe just a little bit!). They’re genuinely important because they help get a book in front of more readers and help bookshops and reviewers determine which books to promote….
And so I would like to ask for your help.
You can vote at the links below – IT ONLY TAKES A FEW SECONDS and I would be immensely grateful! (Alas, the rules mean I cannot offer you a massive bribe, but if your votes help me over the line I shall write a short story about the worst awards night ever* and distribute it via this newsletter. (*May be based on a true-ish story from my own experiences…))
VOTE NUMBER ONE
Quantum of Menace is longlisted for the Theakston Old Peculier Crime Novel of the Year. The shortlist is decided partly by a vote.

VOTE NUMBER TWO
Quantum of Menace is shortlisted for the Capital Crime Fingerprint Award for Overall Crime Book of the Year. The winner of this award is decided by YOU!

It’s always a risk doing something new as a writer and taking on an iconic character such as Q was quite daunting, so I’m incredibly grateful for the way this one has been received. Your support is always appreciated!
